In Loving Memory of Eddy Doerschlen

Eddy Doerschlen the son of the late John Ferdinand and Addie Mae Proffer Doerschlen, was born on February 7, 1931, in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away in Dexter Missouri on July 17, 2016.

He was a Colonel in United States Air Force and served 27 years.  he was the recipient of the Silver Star, the Distinguished Flying Cross and many other honors and commendations in addition to being a member of the Hundred Missions Over North Vietnam Club.

He was married to Betty Jane Doerschlen for 60 years, and she preceded him in death in 2012.

Survivors include two daughters and one son: Laurie Doerschlen-Williams of Honolulu, Hawaii, Linda Marie Arathoon Doerschlen of Dexter and Martin Leon II of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Arrangements are for visitations to be held on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016, at 7:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors.

Memorials may be made to the Alzeimer's Foundation in honor of his wife, Betty and/or to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

In Loving Memory of Wanda Lee Miller

Wanda Lee Miller, 82 of Puxico, Missouri died July 15, 2016 at Southeast hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Mrs. Miller was born August 4, 1933 near Puxico and lived in the Puxico community her entire life.

Wanda graduated Puxico High School in the spring of 1952 and was a faithful member of the Life Chapel Assembly of God.

She was married July 25, 1952 to Orville Miller, he survives.

Other survivors include one son, Kevin Miller and wife Linda of Puxico; one daughter, Vicky Cookson and husband Dellis, of Puxico; One brother Earl Wilfong; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Lela Wilfong and one sister Avis Olliver.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday July 23, 2016 at the Life Chapel Assembly of God with a memorial service to follow at 10 AM.

Officiating will be Reverend Glen Epps and will be assisted by Shirley Denny. Burial will be in the Brown Church cemetery near Puxico.

In Loving Memory of Claud Dee Clary

Claud “Dee” Clary, son of the late Claud Calhoun Clary and Ella M. Mayberry Clary was born on November 29, 1947 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on July 17, 2016 at his residence in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 68.

Mr. Clary was the owner and operator of Dee Clary Auto Sales and Repair in Dexter, Missouri, a veteran of the United States Army, and a resident of Bloomfield.

On June 12, 1970, he was united in marriage to Susan “Becci” Edmonds in Vinson, Missouri.  Mrs. Clary survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides his wife, other survivors include two daughters, Tisha Dona and husband Jamie of Essex, Missouri and Stephanie Adams and husband Tim of  Dexter, Missouri; also by four grandchildren, Devin Featherston, Austin Featherston, Kelsey Kendrick, and Adalyn Walker.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one great- granddaughter, Hailee Elisabeth Featherston.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 20 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military rites.

Memorials may be made to 18Fore Life, c/o Scott Kruse, 705 Laurie Circle, Dexter, MO 63841.
 
Arrangements are under the direction of Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

In Loving Memory Ruby Lemons

Ruby Elaine Lemons, daughter of the late Willie Otis Lemonds and Goldie Mae Sutton Lemonds was born on January 3, 1936 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on July 15, 2016 at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Missouri at the age of 80.

Mrs. Lemons was a retired registered Nurse, member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter.

On August 18, 1962 she was united in marriage to Jimmie Glenn Lemons in Kennett, Missouri. Mr. Lemons survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband other survivors include one son, Steve Lemons of Winchester, Virginia; two daughters, Debra Lemons of West Plains, Missouri and Susan Swinford of Bernie, Missouri; two brother, Carroll Lemonds of Plainfield, Indian and Thomas Lemonds of Choctaw, Oklahoma; by one sister, Kathleen Riggs of Kennett, Missouri; also six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Haley.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Thomas Lemonds officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.

The family has requested memorials be made to the Stoddard County Children’s Home , P.O. Box 164, Dexter, Missouri 63841 or Stoddard County Gospel Mission, 207 North One Mile Road, Dexter, Missouri 63841.

In Loving Memory of Ralph E. Ogelvie

Ralph E. Ogelvie, son of the late Earnest Ogelvie and Ruth Ogelvie Hausmann  was born on May 14, 1937 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on July 15, 2016 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 79.

Mr. Ogelvie was a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a welder at Arvin Automotive in Dexter, a member of the Sugar Tree General Baptist Church in Bernie and was a resident of Dexter.

On June 18, 1961, Mr. Ogelvie was united in marriage to Joyce Campbell in Dexter.  Mrs. Ogelvie survives of the home in Dexter.

Survivors include three sons, Dewayne Ogelvie and wife Marla of Costa Mesa, California, Earnest Ogelvie of Dexter and Mark Ogelvie and wife Pamela of Dexter;  by four daughters, Lisa Bradford of Dudley, Kimberly Smith of De Soto, Gayla Oglevie of Dexter and Michelle Ogelvie of Poplar Bluff;  by three brothers, Thomas Ogelvie and companion Shirley of Dexter, Charles Ogelvie and wife Gloria of Acorn Ridge, and Bob Hausmann and wife Mary of Bristo, Connecticut; by three sisters, Linda Vetter and husband Robert of Eldred, Illinois, Betty Kreiger and husband Alan of Troy, New York and Mary Lee and husband Robert of Hardin, Illinois; and by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Foutch and Shirley Tate and by two son in laws, Greg Bradford and Delbert Smith.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. 

Services will be conducted on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Joe Ogelvie officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Smith Stevenson Cemetery
