Samuel Drew and Rachel Jessica Lynn Phillips-Strickland of Dexter are pleased to announce the birth of their son, born June 21, 2016 at 8:44 a.m. at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Israel Drew Strickland weighed 8 lbs., 2 oz., and was 20.25 inches long.  He was welcomed home by his big brother Delo.

Maternal grandparents are Gene and Lisa Phillips.

Paternal grandparents are Steve and Debbie Strickland.
