Robert Lee Johnson Jr., son of the late Robert Lee Johnson Sr. and Patricia Owens Johnson, was born May 30, 1955 at Bernie, Missouri and died June 29, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 61 Years.
 
Robert graduated from Bernie High School in 1973.  He was a businessman, over the road trucker for many years, and worked for Scott Stephens Construction.
 
On September 23, 1994 he was married to Regina Lynn Pickard at Piggott, Arkansas.
 
Survivors are his wife, Regina Johnson of Bernie, Missouri; one daughter Amy Johnson Dirks & husband Jared of Weatherby Lake, Missouri; two sons, Robert D. Johnson of Bernie, Missouri and Keaton D. Johnson of the home; one grandson, Tristan Johnson of Bernie, Missouri and two granddaughters, Harper Dirks and Finley Dirks of Weatherby Lake, Missouri; by two sisters, Rebecca Edmonds of Bernie, Missouri and Brenda Buchanan of Dexter, Missouri; by his stepmother, Vivian Putnam-Johnson; by two step-brothers, Larry Putnam and Gary Putnam both of Dexter, Missouri; also by many other family members and friends.
 
Robert was affiliated with the Corner Gospel Fellowship Church of Bernie, Missouri.  Bobby loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed every minute he spent with them.  He loved watching the grandchildren play and bragged about how they played basketball and would sit on his lap or snuggle with him.  His wife and family were his greatest joy in life.
 
A Memorial service will be held Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Corner Gospel Fellowship Church in Bernie, Missouri.
 
In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home or Sterling Bank in Bernie, Missouri.
