Dexter, Missouri - Hard to believe that the Graduating Class of 2016 will soon leave the halls of Dexter High School. It only seems appropriate that this year's Class of 2016 will have their Baccalaureate Service on Mother's Day.
It will be a worship in celebration of and thanksgiving of lives dedicated to learning and wisdom. Dexter's First Assembly of God Church on the corner of One Mile Road and Brown Pilot Lane will host Baccalaureate at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8th. Pastor Mike Kohlbaker of First Assembly of God Church and father of Josh Kohlbaker, graduating senior, will speak at the service.
All graduating seniors are encouraged to attend as well as their family and friends. The public is also encouraged to attend this momentous occasion. Refreshments will be served following the service.
Seniors are asked to arrive early to line-up for their entrance with their cap and gown. Photos will be take prior to the start of the service.
