Mrs. Jackson graduated from Morehouse High School in Morehouse, Missouri in 1952. She had worked at Lucas Florist, Brown Shoe Company and Jackson’s Florist, and she and her husband were also owners of a quick shop in Dexter. She was also a past member of the Dexter Elks Auxiliary.
On May 30, 1952, she was united in marriage to Chestley Wayne Jackson. Mr. Jackson survives of their residence.
She is also survived by two sons, Mark Jackson and wife Susan of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Gary Jackson and wife Shelia of Dexter, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Brandi Reyna, Becky Moore, Travis Jackson, Corey Jackson, Ashlee Jackson, Nichole Clippard and Dwaun Thiele; by thirteen great-grandchildren, Daniel Petty, Skylar Jackson, Adrianna Jackson, Hilary Moore, Kaitlynn Moore, Anasten Jackson, William Jackson, Nora Jackson, Brendin Thiele, Adrian Thiele, Addison, Kate and John Clippard; by three sister in laws, Imogene Tate, Nina Jackson, Iva Gipford and her husband Bill and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Jimmy Wyrick, Don Wyrick, Arnold Wyrick, Charles Wyrick and John W. Wyrick and by one sister, Dottie Huls.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, March 21, 2016 from NOON until 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.
