Essex, Missouri - Members of the Richland Future Business Leaders of America pose for a photo with their medals after winning their various events at the FBLA District 16 Conference in Malden.
Included in the photo are, front left: freshman Kate Wyman who won first place medals in Introduction to Business, Introduction to Business ComFeb munication, and Introduction to Business Principals, senior Skie Pinkley who won fifth place in Business Law, and sophomore Megan Cullum who finished first in Securities and Investments. In the back is junior Preston Tilley, who placed first in Business Sales Presentation and fourth in Impromptu Speaking.
Not pictured is freshman Liza King who finished second in Introduction to Business Procedures. Each of the students will be moving on to compete at the state level in Springfield in April.

Essex, Missouri - The Richland R-1 High School held their 2016 Homecoming on Friday evening. Senior Jordan Head was crowned queen and is seated surrounded by her court.
Included in the new queen's court are from left: sophomore candidates Riley Thornton and Landon Oakley, freshman candidates Laura Brown and Riley Glass, crown bearer Jude Rice, Homecoming King junior Preston Tilley, retiring queen junior Katie Pinkley, junior candidate Aleena Robbins, crown bearer Ava Porter and senior candidate Parker Miller.

Richland, Missouri - Larry White, Dexter Elks Lodge member, presented certificates and $50 checks for Savings Bonds to Richland seniors Parker Miller and Skie Pinkley for January.
Skie is the daughter of William and Sue Carroll.
Both students, along with their parents and counselor, Beverly Hampton, will be honored with a banquet to be held at the Dexter Elks Lodge later this spring.
The Elks Students of the Year will be announced at the spring banquet at the Dexter Elks Lodge.
Essex, Missouri - Richland R-1 School seventh grade student, Chloe Holman, shows off her award winning photo fo a butterfly during the Missouri State Junior Beta Convention in Poplar Bluff.
Holman took home a 2nd Place prize in the Colored Photography division and will be representing Richland and the state of Missouri in the National Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana, this coming summer as she competes for the national prize.
