Ronald McDonald House Funds Books for Eugene Field

Poplar Bluff, Missouri - Ronald McDonald House Charities awarded $500 to Eugene Field Elementary in Poplar Bluff, Missouri for the purchase of book sets for third graders to use during reading time. Teacher April Sandlin applied for the grant and local McDonalds owner Steve Sells delivered the check on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016.

Principal Jennifer Taylor said the elementary school has received funding from RMHC in the past, allowing for the purchase of playground equipment. RMHC supports non-profit childrens’ programs in the areas of education, health and social well-being, as well as the cultural arts.
