JV Hornets Sting Indians in Game #5 of the SCAA Tournament

Dexter, Missouri - Game #5 of the Stoddard County Athletic Association boys basketball tournament proved to be a pretty good battle between the Hornets and the Indians.  

Braiden Brown came out of the gate with two threes and two buckets for the junior varsity Hornets to start the first quarter.  He finished the game with 24 points on six buckets and four treys.

Michael Hood tallied 21 points including one trey for Advance.

Puxico's Braden Jones recorded a team-high 18 points hitting 4 treys and was 100% at the charity stripe sinking two.

Advance led at the end of the first quarter 22 - 15 and by half-time increased their lead to 11 points.  Advance hit double digits in each of their four periods.

Other notables were Drew Fowler and Carson Miles who each hit one 3-pointer for Advance.

Advance will be back in action on Thursday, January 28th when they take on the Dexter Bearcats in Game #9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bearcat Event Center.  Dexter had a bye on Monday and is seeded #1 in the junior varsity bracket.
