Bloomfield, Missouri - The Malden Green Wave kept their chances alive Saturday beating Portageville 55 - 43 in Game #5 of the 59th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.

Portageville led in the first quarter 13 - 9 before the Green Wave recorded 26 points in the second period to lead 35 - 24 at the half.

Malden's powerhouse Trevor Ison tallied 16 points for the Green Wave.

Chris Garmon recorded a game-high 17 points for the Bulldogs.  Ian Torrey tallied 16 points including two 3-pointers.

Final Score  Malden 55, Portageville 43

Malden will play Doniphan on Monday, December 28th at 5:30 p.m. in Game #14 of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.  Portageville was eliminated by Bernie in Game #9 on Monday morning.
