Puxico Athletic Booster Club Presents Check to School

The proceeds will go towards the baseball and softball program.

An Iron Mike Pitching Machine has also been purchased and donated for use by the baseball, softball, and Booster Club programs. The machine will arrive in 2-3 weeks! Way to go Booster Club!

First Responders Share Lunch with Middle School Students

There was representation from the Butler County Sheriff's Department, Fire Department, Emergency Management Agency and EMS, along with the Poplar Bluff Police Department and Fire Department, plus Rural/Metro. Guests received 'thank you' cards from students.
Lunch was provided by Chartwells School Dining Services. "It's been 25 years since I had a school lunch," Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs joked.

Dalton Rickel Earns Eagle Scout Rank

His accomplishment was celebrated in a Court of Honor on Monday, August 24, 2015.
Dalton is the 18 year-old son of Sheri Rickel of Dexter and Daniel Rickel of Sparta, Missouri
He is a member of Troop 4200, sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Dexter.
For his Eagle project, Dalton renovated the disabled hunters duck blind at Otter Slough. Dalton is a 2015 graduate of Dexter High School.
Congratulations Dalton!
