Tuesday - Meatloaf, pork chop, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, whole grain bread and peach cobbler.
Wednesday - Spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken salad, corn, garden salad, breadstick/bread and Mandarin oranges.
Thursday - Ham & beans, taco casserole, mixed greens stewed tomatoes, cornbread/crackers and chocolate cream pie.
Friday - Turkey & cheese croissant, catfish, baked beans, okra, whole grain bread and brownie.
The Industrial Appreciation Week will be observed Monday, September 13th - Saturday, September 19th.
Area Chamber members and industry representatives gathered at the Chamber office to witness Mayor Joe Weber sign the annual proclamation.
Key figures in the front row are Kevin Bishop, Chamber President, Mayor Joe Weber, and representatives of the three oldest industires in Dexter. They are Cathy Smart of Tyson Foods, In., John and Marjorie Duley, owners of Duley machine Shop and Bruce Miller, owner of Specialty Engineering Corp.
Industrial Appreciation Week will include a wide range of special activities including a golf scramble on Wednesday, September 16th, a bowling tournament on Saturday, September 19th and a complimentary breakfast by Pizza Hut for industry owners, managers, sponsors, and invited guests.
The pageant will be held Sunday, October 4th at the Dexter High School auditorium beginning at 2:00 p.m.
The following categories will be: Little Miss (ages 3-7), Petite Miss (ages 7-11 or in the 5th grade), Junior Miss (ages 11-14, grades 6th, 7th and 8th), and Miss (ages 14 - 20, grade 9 and above).
All contestants must be residents of a Stoddard County School District, or attend a Stoddard County School. They must also be a reigning queen or attendant in their respective category or age group. Any title bestowed from October 5, 2014 to the date of the pageant meets eligibility requirements.
Entry forms and rules will be available at all area high schools and the Bunny Patch in Dexter. An optional rehearsal will be held on Friday, October 2nd in the Dexter High School auditorium.
Proceeds for the pageant will be used to help various community and county projects such as the Karen Pippins Scholarship, 18ForeLife, Relay for Life, Stoddard County Children's Home, the ARC Group Home, local Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship, Christmas gifts for needy families and the Stoddard County Gospel Mission.
Deadline to enter is Thursday, October 1st. The order in which entry forms are received has no bearing on the order of the contestants' appearance in the pageant.

Dexter, Missouri - The Keller Public Library will begin their fall Story Hour Programs beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
Story Hour is each Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. Reita LeBeau and Kim Cook will open the season with “Take Off to Story Time!”
Tuesday, September 15th Mary Ann Taylor will present “Mrs. Honey’s Hat”.
Tuesday, September 22nd Sam and Jeannie Huey will bring a Petting Zoo and present “Watch Out for Germs!” You know the Stoddard County Fair is near when the animals make their special appearance.
September 29th “Fall Magic” presented by Melanie Stoelting from Parents as Teachers. She will also answer any questions you may have about PAT and if you haven’t joined, that will be the perfect time.
Story Hour is a feature of the Keller Public Library and is free and open to the public. Bring your youngster to the library for a weekly treat!
