Betty Mae Moore, daughter of the late Raymond Gaines and Virgie Lane Gaines, was born on July 17, 1946 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on September 7, 2015 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 69.
Mrs. Moore was of the General Baptist faith. She had been employed at the International Hat Company in Dexter as a machine operator for thirty-five years and was a resident of Dexter.
On October 12, 1963, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Moore in Dexter. Mr. Moore survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Jimmie Moore, Jr. and wife Rhonda Kay of Dexter; by two brothers, Leon Gaines and Ricky Gaines, both of Dexter; by one sister, Peggy Evans of Dexter; and by two grandsons, Brandon Moore and wife Bethany and Justin Moore.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Gaines, her twin, and Junior Gaines; by two sisters, Bonnie Brewer and Wanda McRoy.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Greg Stevens officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
Sandra Durham, daughter of Kit Eby, was born May 10, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio and departed this life on September 3, 2015 in Dexter, Missouri.
Sandra was a resident of the Dexter, Missouri area for many years since retiring in the 1990’s. Prior to moving to Missouri, she raised her sons in the far northwestern suburban Chicago area.
Sandra was a retired school bus driver, but also held many other honorable positions over the course of her working life including that of a sought after, talented hair stylist. She loved to sing and even though it was never an actual profession, she found great joy later in life by sharing this ability alongside her friends in the choir.
On June 30, 1988, Sandra was united in marriage to Junior “JR” Durham in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband JR Durham; her father Robert Eby; her brother Michael Eby; and her daughter Sharon Hansmann.
Sandra is survived by her mother Kit Eby; her three sons, Dennis Hansmann, Donald Hansmann and Douglas Hansmann; her grandson Nathanial Hansmann; her great grandson Turner Hansmann; her Aunt Tootsie Friece; her nephew Matthew Eby; her niece Kelly Eby; three great nephews; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held and calls will be taken at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 12:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Bill Burke officiating. Interment will follow at the Bernie Cemetery.
Mrs. Mickey was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ. She was a resident of Bernie and a home-maker.
On April 25, 1967 she was united in marriage to Glendall “Sonny” Mickey at Bernie. Mr. Mickey preceded her in death on November 18, 2010.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Mickey and wife Mary Ellen of St. Louis and Kevin Mickey and wife Holly of Bernie; by six brothers, Bob Burch of Wappapello, Glen Burch, Don Burch, Doyle Burch, Carl Joe Burch and Danny Burch all of Bernie; by three sisters, Janet Whitehead of Wappapello, Linda Lucy of Trinity, North Carolina and Loretta Carson of Campbell; by eight grandchildren, Sara and Husband Russell Orr, Alyson Mickey, Owen Mickey, Logan Wagoner, Garrett Wagoner, Hannah Barber, Kate Gilmore and Hailey Gertsch and by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Bernie Church of Christ on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Bernie Church of Christ with Stan Dauck and Brian Mickey officiating. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.
Arrangement are being handled by Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Charles had been a resident of Bell City, Missouri for many years. He had worked at Ptitsburg Glass in St. Louis and as a self employed Real Estate Broker. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, was past master and 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Bell City and a member of the Advance Eagles.
On January 12, 1960, he was married to Mary Ann Glamann in Arnold, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Kight of Bell City, Missouri; two sons, Michael & Maria Kight of St. Louis, Missouri; David & Teresa (Scheible) Kight of Bell City, Missouri; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 pm.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 1:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors conducted, Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Miss Island lived most of her life in Dexter, Missouri. She had worked as a CNA nurse in nursing homes. She was of Baptist faith.
She enjoyed collecting Coke-Cola and Elvis memorabilia She was a huge Elvis fan but more than anything she loved her jewelry. She would order jewelry from home shopping networks even after she fell ill.
Surviving are one daughter, Ashley Lacey of Dexter, Missouri; one son, Ricky Island of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; three brothers, Bobby Mayner of Dexter, Billy Mayner of Tampa, Florida, and Loyd Mayner of Tupelo, Mississippi; and two sisters, Mary Ann Skiles of Florida and Rosey Mayner of Dexter. Other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, April Island Homan; one brother, Mike Mayner, and one sister, Maudie Mayner.
