Joyce Ann Mickey

Joyce Ann Mickey, daughter of the late Cecil Ray Burch and Lucille Bilderback Burch was born on September 4, 1944 in rural Essex and departed this life on September 5, 2015 at the Southeast Health of Stoddard County at the age of 71.
Mrs. Mickey was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ. She was a resident of Bernie and a home-maker.
On April 25, 1967 she was united in marriage to Glendall “Sonny” Mickey at Bernie. Mr. Mickey preceded her in death on November 18, 2010.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Mickey and wife Mary Ellen of St. Louis and Kevin Mickey and wife Holly of Bernie; by six brothers, Bob Burch of Wappapello, Glen Burch, Don Burch, Doyle Burch, Carl Joe Burch and Danny Burch all of Bernie; by three sisters, Janet Whitehead of Wappapello, Linda Lucy of Trinity, North Carolina and Loretta Carson of Campbell; by eight grandchildren, Sara and Husband Russell Orr, Alyson Mickey, Owen Mickey, Logan Wagoner, Garrett Wagoner, Hannah Barber, Kate Gilmore and Hailey Gertsch and by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Bernie Church of Christ on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Bernie Church of Christ with Stan Dauck and Brian Mickey officiating. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.
Arrangement are being handled by Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
