Doris F. Mowery, daughter of the late Willis M. Higgins and Rosalee Rains Higgins, was born on February 12, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on August 30, 2015 at her residence in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 70.

Mrs. Mowery worked as a lineworker for Tyson Foods in Dexter.

In 1980, she was united in marriage to Alfred Mowery in Arizona.  Mr. Mowery preceded her in death in 2008.

She is survived by two sons, Allen Hogg of Bloomfield, Missouri and Dan Lee Mowery of East Prairie, Missouri; by Lisa Faye Rose Mowery of Essex, Missouri; by one sister, Roberta James of Bloomfield, Missouri; and by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Services have not been scheduled at this time. 

Arrangements are being handled by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
