Cape Girardeau, Missouri - The Lady Cats Tennis team traveled to Cape Central on Thursday afternoon securing their third win of the season.  Dexter’s varsity team easily defeated the Lady Tigers 8-1.

Varsity Doubles

MaKayla Waldner/Lexi May beat Dai/Harding 8-2.

Macy Urhahn/Kalee Howard beat Grimm/Maxton 8-2.

Nicole Sells/Rachel Singh beat Uhls/Ustinov 8-5.

Varsity Singles

#1 MaKayla Waldner defeated Amy Dai 6-1, 6-2.

#2 Lexi May defeated Kate Harding 6-3, 6-2.

#3 Natalie Grimm defeated Macy Urhahn 2-6, 6-1, 10-4.

#4 Nicole Sells defeated Elizabeth Ustinov 6-0, 6-0

#5 Rachel Singh defeated Lauren Uhls 6-0, 6-1.

#6 Kalee Howard defeated Jordan Mexton 7-6(4), 1-6, 10-8.

In junior varsity action the Cape Central Tigers defeated the Lady Cats 5-3.

Reagan Miller/Morgan Aldridge (D) defeated Shelby Powers/Rachel Williams 6-1.

Holly Finnegan/Shelby Wilkerson (C) beat Abbie Dorton/Kirsten Teffertiller 6-1

Reagan Miller/Morgan Aldridge (D) beat Brooke Kimberly/Kennedy Davis 6-0.

Madeleine Baker/Shelby Norder (C) beat Abbie Dorton/Kirsten Teffertiller 6-4

Junior Varsity Singles

Kirsten Teffertiller (D) defeated Kennedy Davis 6-3.

The Dexter Bearcats (3-0) will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Poplar Bluff.  Game time is 4:00 p.m.
