It was an awesome group from the Dexter Bearcat Football boys along with the Coaching staff; to Dexter schools staff Scott Kruse, Amy Miller Simmons, Starla Pulley, Amber Nea......To DHS volleyballer Addie Kruse....School Board member Mark Nea..to all the incredible parents, Kenny Rinehart, Rob N Michelle Chism, the Bellers Family....
Countless others that I realize we are forgetting and I apologize...Aaron Mathis stepped up and was huge for us. None of this would have been possible without the leadership of Robert Mcmullin, Kent Essner, Kenny Essner, and even Mrs. Debbie Essner got in on the action late Sunday night.
I can't say enough how this group are complete ROCKSTARS and are always ready to step up and get things done!
Thank You to ShowMe Times and Dee Loflin and Jessica Loflin for bringing us bottled water!
We can't forget the fine folks from Busy B Lumber Company that donated rollers, buckets, pans, and drop cloths. Steve Lacy's crew worked today on finishing the drop ceiling in the coach's office and training room in the field house, Kenny Essner got the coach's office painted today.
Please remember we have a few lockers left to sell to pay for this football project. Lastly, and most importantly, if you run into those that have helped make this project possible, Please give them a huge THANK YOU! Charles Bland Stadium is coming together and full of #bearcatpride ahead of this Friday nights game where we open the season and #beatstgen! #fireupbearcats

Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield WILL OBSERVE “SPIRIT OF ’45 DAY” COMMEMORATING THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE END OF WORLD WAR II.
The Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield will observe “SPIRIT OF ’45 DAY” on Aug 16, 2015.
The program will begin at 2:00 PM at the Committal Shelter Plaza in the cemetery.
The second Sunday in August has been proposed as “Spirit of ’45 Day” to commemorate the anniversary of the end of World War II on August 14, 1945. With the assistance of the Stoddard County Veterans Honor Guard, the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield will honor WWII veterans by participating in the National Spirit of ’45 Program and placing a wreath at the Cemetery.
Since opening on September 29, 2003 the cemetery has conducted over 2450 interments. The interments have included individuals from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf War periods. The cemetery is the final resting place for many veterans, including former Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action or Killed in Action.
Families and friends of those interred as well as the general public are invited to attend.
For more information you may contact the cemetery at 573-568-3871.
