Dexter, Missouri - Lloyd and Tresia Hyten of Dexter and Glen David and Carlene Horton of Kennett are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Whitney Hyten and David Horton.

David and Whitney became in engaged in December of 2014 and will be married at the First General Baptist Church in Dexter on July 18, 2015.

After graduating from high school in Dexter in 2007, Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Arkansas State University.  She is currently employed as a Kindergarten teacher at the Dexter Public School District.

Davide graduated from Kennett High School in 2006 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and is currently employed for the Missouri Division of Fire Safety in Jefferson City, Missouri.
