Mrs. Bledsoe had lived most of her life in Dexter, Missouri, although she lived in California for six years and moved back to Dexter in 1969.
She had worked at the Hickory Log Restaurant and at Hudson Foods. She was a member of the Ark of Hope Church in Dexter.
On July 30, 1961 she was married to James Willis Bledsoe in Pigott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Morse of Dexter, Missouri, and Nelda Poeppelmeyer of Bloomfield, Missouri; two step daughters, Charlene Peterson of Chicago, Illinois, Sandra Bledsoe of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Jean Carlton of Dexter; three step sisters, Becky Nichols, Judy Billings and Betty Jo. Other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by one step son, Cecil Robbins; one step daughter, Connie Robbins; and four brothers, Max, Billy, Jackie and Bobby Wood.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Jamie Jones officiating.

James W. Heaton, Jr., son of the late James W. Heaton, Sr. and Clara Mae Petiford Heaton, was born on September 14, 1938 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on May 24, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 76.
Mr. Heaton retired from the United States Army with the rank of Command Sergeant Major and was a resident of Dudley.
Sergeant First Class Heaton distinguished himself on August 13, 1970 in Kien Hoa Province, Vietnam while serving as an Air Movement Advisor with the US Army. SFC Heaton’s helicopter was searching for two American Advisors who had been involved in heavy contact with a Viet Cong Force. When low level visual reconnaissance located the wounded advisor, SFC Heaton braved potential enemy fire and waded through waist-deep rice paddy mud where he rendered first aid to the wounded advisor with the enemy fifty meters away. Sergeant Heaton was able to safely evacuate the wounded advisor. Sergeant Heaton later located and evacuated the other advisor who had been killed in action. Through his strong determination and exceptional bravery and courage, Sergeant Heaton was directly responsible for saving an advisor from certain death. He was awarded the Bronze Star, 3 Purple Hearts, the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and the Vietnamese Honor Medal, First Class
On June 15, 1958, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Smith in Charleston, Missouri. Mrs. Heaton preceded him in death on May 20, 1992.
He is survived by four sons, James W. Heaton, III of Illinois, Michael Heaton and wife Dixie of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Richard Allen Heaton and wife Tonya of Columbus, Georgia and Gregory Dale Heaton of Newport, South Carolina; by one daughter, Teresa Heaton of Dallas, Texas; by three brothers, Billy Ray Heaton of Wappapello, Danny Heaton of Marlow, Oklahoma and Buddy Joe Heaton of Bloomfield; by six sisters, Nellie Geneva Allen of Phoenix, Arizona, Patricia Wood of Bloomfield, Brenda Laffoon of Dudley, Ocie Robinson of Dexter, Dorothy Keith of Dexter and Lisa Ann Rieffer of Dudley; by seven grandchildren, Matthew Lindsey, Brittany Pate, Kyle Heaton, Jeremy Heaton, Ashley Becker, Sydney Heaton and Casey Heaton; and by seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Heaton; and by one brother, Harold Heaton
His services will be held in Columbus, Georgia at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
He spent most of his life in St. Louis, he moved to Puxico twelve years ago and worked for Advance Trucking until he retired. He had attended church at the Baptist Church in Malden. He enjoyed attending car shows and motorcycle shows.
Surviving are four sons, Robbie Arnold of Fifty Six, Arkansas, Jeffery Arnold, Mickey Arnold and Todd Arnold all of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Arnold of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Carter of Puxico, Missouri and Wanda Ross of Melbourne, Florida.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be Saturday May 30, 2015 at 10.00 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Robbie Arnold of Fifty Six, Arkansas officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Gardens in Marble Hill, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.

Charles Issac Farmer, son of the late Charles Roscoe Farmer and Lucy Ann Ruggles Farmer, was born on January 7, 1925 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed this life on May 26, 2015 at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 90.
Mr. Farmer was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter and a resident of Dexter. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Delta Asphalt and Brown Sand and Gravel. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II, an avid fisherman and hunter.
On October 30, 1948, he was united in marriage to Gladys E. Dunning in Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. Farmer preceded him in death on January 26, 2005.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Cooper and husband Bill of Dexter and Janie Marie Adams and husband Larry of Dexter; by one brother, Allen L. Farmer of Dexter; by two sisters, Yvonne D. Taylor of Wappapello and Frankie M. Kinder of Dexter; by five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Jimmie S. Farmer, Raymond Farmer, Robert Farmer, Earl Farmer and Ernest Farmer (twins); and by five sisters, Levella Gold, Hortense Davis, Ruth Elledge, Roxinne Gaines and Lawanda Farmer.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Robert Bentley, Rev. Darrell Faire and Rev. Jeff Wells officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
She had lived in the Bloomfield, Missouri area all her life and was a member of the Light House Church of Dexter, Missouri. She worked for many years at Purolator before her retirement.
On August 26, 1954, she was married to Clifford D. Musgrave in Union City, Tennessee. He preceded her in death May 7, 2009.
Surviving are one son, Mike Musgrave of Bloomfield, Missouri; two daughters, Sharon Kay Scism of Dexter, Missouri and Karen Sue Rasor of Dexter, Missouri; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Billy Souders of St. Louis, Missouri; and one sister, Shirley Christopher of California. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015, after 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
