Farmington, Missouri – Ethan Stevens and Drake Mitchell qualified for golf sectionals to be held on Monday, May 11th in Sikeston.
Stevens tied for sixth place and Mitchell tied for 13th place at the Class 3, District 1 golf tournament at Crown Pointe Golf Course in Farmington. Stevens shot nine-over-par 81 and Mitchell shot 13-over-par 85.
Farmington won the tournament with a team score of 319. The best 15 individuals qualify for sectionals and the top two teams move on.

Charleston, Missouri - The Dexter girls track team brought home several top honors at the SEMO Conference high school track meet in Charleston.
The Lady Cats finished first overall as a team.

Dexter beat New Madrid Count Central 15-0 and Bernie 7-3 to reach the championship.
They then defeated East Prairie 11-9 in the championship game.
The team is coached by James Sneed and Kyle Williamson.
Bernie, Missouri – The Dexter Bearcats took care of business in the first round of District play on Monday afternoon. They defeated Bloomfield 13-3 in six innings and earned a third opportunity to beat the Bernie Mules.
Bloomfield seeded sixth jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Dexter struck back tied the game at 3 all and later took a 5-3 lead in the second inning. They scored four runs in the fifth and sixth innings to secure the win.
Brittany Brown hit a pair of bunt singles and drew three walks. Amber Spence had a pair of hits and three RBIs.
Morgan Ross earned the win allowing only eight hits and struck out two.
Dexter will play the #1 seeded Bernie Mules in the District Semifinal on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in Bernie. The Mules have defeated the Bearcats twice in regular season, 5-0 and 10-2.
