Kerri Jo Stearns, daughter of Ricky Stearns and Betty Jane Eskew Stearns of Dexter, was born on May 21, 1978 in Poplar Bluff and departed this life on April 6, 2015 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston at the age of 36.

Kerri was a member of the Church of Christ in Essex.  She was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sons, Devon Stearns, Damon Stearns and Tayton Williams, all of Dexter; by one brother, Josh and wife Courtney Stearns of Dexter; by one sister, Tracy and husband Taylor Vaughan of Cape Girardeau; and by two nieces, Ricki Vaughan and Hadley Stearns.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. with Herman Morse officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery in rural Pyletown.
