Cleta Mae Hausner White lost her life Wednesday afternoon March 25, 2015 at SouthEast Hospital in Cape.

Cleta, daughter of George Hausner and Lydia Collins Hausner, graduated from Bernie High School in 1960 and married Donald Gene White August 27 1961.

Cleta lived an energetic life packed with service to others, cooking and sewing for her family, earning her cosmetology license and operating a beauty shop, working for many years at Brown Shoe Factory in Bernie and Overturf Drug in Dexter, serving as secretary for her local county water district, providing wedding cakes and decorations, art work in oil paint and ceramic, operating her shop Lydia Mae and helping her husband operate a restaurant and a land grading business. She often opened her home in Christian hospitality to many friends, neighbors, and family.

Preceded in death by her parents George Carl Hausner and Lydia Collins Hausner and an infant sister Georgeanne, Cleta is mourned by her husband the former Stoddard County Clerk Don White, sons Darren White and Kevin White USAF Major (retired) and daughter in law Cris, grandaughters Hannah Racquel and Ashleigh Khristina, daughter Robin and son in law Todd, grandsons Sam and Will, her brothers James Hausner of Segin Texas and Ray Hausner of Glendora MS, and many loving in- laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation with the family was at 11am, Saturday March 28 at Lighthouse Church, Lighthouse Drive, Dexter Missouri with funeral followed at 3pm Saturday, Pastor Tim Russell leading. Burial was in Sycamore Cemetery.

Memorials for Cleta may take the form of gifts to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society www.lls.og or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Ben Kruze 18 FORE Charitable Organization.
