Daren Lee Pulliam, son of Virgil Lee (Pamela) Pulliam of Wappapello, Missouri and Carolyn Sue (Gill) Morgan Abbott of Essex, Missouri was born on May 19, 1978 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on March 22, 2015 in the Emergency Room at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter at the age of 36.

Mr. Pulliam was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.  He had formerly worked for Randy Kinder Excavating, Inc. in Dexter, was a resident of Bernie and a veteran of the United States Army.  Daren was a musician and loved playing the guitar.

On January 21, 2015, he was united in marriage to Wendy Cobb in Dexter.  Mrs. Pulliam survives of the home.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by one son, Haydn Paul Owens of Bernie, Missouri; by three daughters, Haleigh M. Pulliam and Morgan L. Pulliam, both of Blodgett, Missouri and Alyssa Pulliam of Puxico, Missouri; by one step-son, Jake Hanner of Bernie, Missouri; by one step-daughter, Rileigh Hanner of Bernie, Missouri; by three step-brothers, Robert Taylor of Wappapello, Missouri, Casey Abbott of Fisk, Missouri and Randy Taylor of St. Genevieve, Missouri; by two step-sisters, Erica Abbott of  Fisk, Missouri and Jennifer Derousse of St. Genevieve, Missouri; and by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Morgan of Essex, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. 

Funeral services will be conducted at the Christian Lighthouse Center on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
