- * FLOOD WATCH FOR SOUTHWEST INDIANA... WESTERN KENTUCKY... SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS TO THE SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 64.
- * FROM MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
- * WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAIN... 1 TO 3 INCHES... AND MELTING SNOW AND ICE WILL OVERWHELM DRAINAGE SYSTEMS... RESULTING IN NUMEROUS FLOODING ISSUES. A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL RESULT IN ISOLATED VERY INTENSE RAIN RATES AND POTENTIALLY MORE SIGNIFICANT FLOODING ISSUES. FLOODING WILL BE MOST PREVALENT WHERE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS ARE BLOCKED BY SNOW AND ICE FROM THE WINTER STORM EARLIER THIS WEEK.

- * TIMING: LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
- * AMOUNTS: SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES ACROSS SOUTHWEST INDIANA TO A HALF AN INCH OR LESS ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI. ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND A QUARTER INCH OVER MUCH OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OVER SOUTHWEST INDIANA. AREAS THAT EXPERIENCE A THUNDERSTORM COULD SEE ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS OF ICE... SLEET OR SNOW.

- * TIMING: THE SNOW WILL MOVE WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE AREA AND PRODUCE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF NEW SNOWFALL FOR THE ENTIRE QUAD STATE REGION TONIGHT. THE SNOW WILL BEGIN IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AS EARLY AS LATE THIS AFTERNOON... THEN SWEEP EASTWARD ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION TONIGHT.
