Norman Dean Gillespie, son of the late Ferrel Gillespie and Ester Wagner Gillespie, was born on May 15, 1929 in Puxico, Missouri and departed this life on February 15, 2015 at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter at the age of 85.

Mr. Gillespie had worked as a carpenter, was a resident of Dexter as well as a veteran of the United States Army

On January 20, 1962, he was united in marriage to Aretta Irene "Susie" Schatte in Puxico.  Mrs. Gillespie survives of the home.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M.. 

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
