Robert Gwen Stoner, son of Betty Stoner of Dexter and the late Robert Junior Stoner, was born on February 12, 1962 in Dexter and departed this life on January 19, 2015 at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter at the age of 52.

Mr. Stoner worked for Foster’s Landgrading in Dexter and was a resident of Dexter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Robert Nathan Stoner of Dexter; by one daughter Janey Marie Stoner of Dexter; by three brothers, Bobby Stoner and wife Marie of Dudley, Timothy Stoner and wife Amanda of Poplar Bluff and DeWayne Stoner and wife Dollie of Dexter; by one sister, Deborah Whitsel of Dexter; and by two grandchildren, Camden Stoner and McKinley Laffoon.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Whitsel.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 6:30 P.M. with Rick White officiating.
