Dexter JV Fight Back in the 4th to Secure Win Over Bernie

Bernie, Missouri – The JV Bearcats rallied back in the fourth period tallying 21 points to secure the win over the Bernie JV boys basketball team 50 – 44.

Trevor McDonald tallied a game-high 17 points for the JV ‘Cats hitting two 3-pointers.  Ben Sindle finished with 8 points including a trey.

Bernie’s Gavin Brown scored a team-high 14 points and Nate Dillinger recorded 13 points.  Ridge Littleton, Alan Pippins, and Dalton Hobgood each added a trey. 

Final Score JV Dexter 50, JV Bernie 44

Second Grade 3R's Flag Winners at Southwest Elementary
Dexter, Missouri - At the start of each month at Southwest Elementary, one classroom in each grade is recognized for exhibiting the high character with regard to observing the school's 3R's and receives the SWPBS award.

The 3R's stand for being Respectful, Ready to Learn and Responsible.  The class with the highest attendance average, combined with the fewest disciplinary measures and general good character are awarded a 3R red flag to be posted in their classroom for the next month.  The students are also awarded "superhero" capes to wear and parade around the gym before returning to class.

Jordan Boyer's second grade class earned the 3R Flag for this month.
