DMS Boys Win Basketball Home Opener

Dexter, Missouri – The Middle School boys basketball program held their home opener following the delicious Old Fashioned Chili Supper at the T.S. Hill Middle School.  Both the 7th and 8th grade teams won defeated Woodland 52-20 in the 8th grade competition and 50-18 in the 7th grade game.

Dexter scored double digits in the first three periods of the 8th grade game to secure their win.

Eighth grade athlete Seth Rogers recorded a game-high 13 points including 2 treys for the Bearcats.  Braxton Foster tallied 10 points and Nate Gargas and Eric Hahn each added 8 points.  Hahn recorded two treys.

Final Score 8th Grade Boys:  Dexter 52, Woodland 20

In 7th grade action the Bearcats scored 18 points in both the 1st and 2nd periods.  Garrett Henson tallied 14 points including a trey and Brodie Pollock scored 10 points.
