Dexter, Missouri – The new Miss DHS 2014-2015 was crowned Friday evening at the opening home football game between the Dexter Bearcats and the Poplar Bluff Mules in Charles Bland Stadium.
The new Miss DHS is Rachel Putnam. Rachel is a senior at Dexter High School and is the daughter of Denny and Shannon Putnam.
First Alternate is Miss Toni Curran. Toni is the daughter of Tony and Michelle Curran.
Second Alternate is Miss Miranda Rogers. Miranda is the daughter of Jeff and Sarah Rogers and Linda and Dale Cobb.
The senior class at the high school select the candidates for Miss DHS and the queen is selected by a vote of the entire student body.

Hannah is a 2013 graduate of Dexter Senior High School and is currently attending Southeast Missouri State University where she is a member of the Women's Basketball Team. Hannah is double majoring in Sports Management and Television Broadcasting.
Hannah is the daughter of Jonas and Jo Noe.
She was escorted by Mr. Nick Noble.
Nick is also a 2013 graduate of Dexter Senior High School and is currently attending Three Rivers College. He is the son of Brian and Deborah Noble.

Miranda is the 17-year old daughter of Jeff and Sarah Rogers and Linda and Dale Cobb.
Her activities include Future Teachers of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, Future Business Leaders, FCCLA, Honors Choir, and varsity Basketball Cheerleading.
Miranda's future plans are to attend Three Rivers College with an A+ Scholarship, transfer to Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau and earn a degree in Teaching.
Miranda was escorted by her brother Mr. Devon Rogers.
Devon is the 14-year old son of Jeff and Sarah Rogers and Linda and Dale Cobb.
Devon's three words to describe his sister are: BEAUTIFUL, NICE (sometimes), AND MY BEST FRIEND.

MacKinlee is the 17-year old daughter of Robin and Scott Northern.
Her activities include Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Teachers of America, Future Business Leaders, FCCLA, and Teenage Republicans. She is also a varsity Football Cheerleaders and varsity Basketball Cheerleader.
After graduation, MacKinlee plans on to attend the University of Arkansas and major in Political Science.
MacKinlee was escorted by Mr. Ethan Flowers.
Ethan is the 17-year old son of Tim and Kim Flowers.
Ethan's three words to describe MacKinlee are: SHORT, SASSY, AND PRETTY!
