He was raised in Southeast Missouri and had lived Springfield, Missouri since 1988. He had worked at as a pipe fitter and attended the West Division Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the V.F.W. and Masonic Lodge.
In July of 1956 he was married to Melba Jane Fincher in Dexter. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2007.
Surviving are four sons, Russell Hunsaker of Springfield, Gary Hunsaker of Elkville, Illinois, Tommy and Kevin Hunsaker both of Dexter; three daughters, Sharon Snodgrass of Moberly, Missouri, Sheila Armbruster and Leila Busby both of Sikeston; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Hunsaker of Dexter, and Jerry Hunsaker of Walnut Grove, Missouri; four sisters, Virginia Sherfield of Dexter, Linda Christian of Fordland, Missouri, Glenda Fowler of Wixom, Michigan, and Pansy Gianacakos of Springfield, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Alvin, John David, James, Burl, Ralph and George Newton Hunsaker.
Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2014, after 9:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 25, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Steve Tippen of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Hollis Callow Malone, 29, took his final flight to heaven on Aug. 20, 2014, near Parsons, Tenn.
Born Oct. 4, 1984, in Cape Girardeau, to Peter (Erika) Malone of Sikeston and Cathy (Cameron) Beggs of Benton, Hollis was a 2003 Sikeston High School graduate and attended Murray State University. He graduated the Professional Pilot Program from Regional Airline Academy in DeLand, Fla., in 2007. He was a commercial-rated single, multi-engine instrument pilot and held several types of ratings. He had a background in corporate and agriculture aviation and was proud to be a fourth generation pilot. From a long line of distinguished professional pilots, he often said, “Aviation is in my blood.” The only thing he loved more than flying was his beautiful family that he leaves behind. He also leaves behind an abundance of family and friends to cherish his memory.
On March 4, 2011, in Vero Beach, Fla., he married LeAnn Pearson, who survives of the home.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by: his son, Rylan Hollis Malone, and an unborn child. Other survivors include: two brothers, Travis Beggs and Ashton Beggs of Benton; six sisters and their spouses, Ashley Beggs of Benton, Megan (Billy) Van Pelt and Whitney (Derrick) Uhrhan of Chaffee, Heather (Ethan) Watkins of Cape Girardeau, Claire Malone and Chloe Sells of Sikeston; one niece, Reese Van Pelt of Chaffee; three nephews, Cullen Pearson and Ben Pearson of Sikeston and Jaxon Van Pelt of Chaffee; his grandmothers, Ann Beggs of Cape Girardeau, and Linda Elam of Little Rock, Ark.; his father- and mother-in-law, David and Diane Pearson of Sikeston; two brothers-in- law and their spouses, Blake and Colleen Pearson and Brent and Frannie Pearson of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Malone; and grandmother, Phyllis Aduddell.
Visitation is from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Charles Buck will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. Pallbearers are: Blake Pearson, Brent Pearson, Andrew Ambrose, Doug Glenn, Forrest Martin, Jason Ray, Travis Beggs, Brandon Stewart and Donny DeLine.
Honorary pallbearers are: Cullen Pearson, Ben Pearson, Ashton Beggs, Ben Stricklin, Daniel Sexton, Josh Sexton, Zach Sexton and Stephen Nebel.

Martha Minton, daughter of the late Ottie Miles and Adel Taylor Miles was born on January 13, 1918 in Essex and passed away on August 20, 2014, at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Dexter at the age of 96.
Mrs. Minton was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter, and a home-maker.
On September 3, 1941 she was united in marriage to Bert Minton in Essex. Mr. Minton preceded her in death on May 1, 2003.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki and husband Ted Matthes and Robyn Brown both of Dexter; by four grandchildren, Kate Parsons, Stephen and wife Shelly Matthes, Jessica Matthes and Miles Brown and by two great-grandchildren, Rhys Parsons and Mackenzie Matthes.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Minton.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Dr. Barry Winders officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

She had lived in Essex, Missouri for many years and had lived in Dexter the past several years. She had worked as an in home health care worker.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Kevin Pullum of Bloomfield, Missouri, David Wessley Rodgers of Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Barbara Morgan and Misty McGregor both of Dexter, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Herman Pullum of Bloomfield; two sisters, Marilyn Southerland of Moscow Mills, Missouri and Frances Hester of Bloomfield, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may visit Thursday, August 21, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Services will be held Friday, August 22, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiating.
Interment with be in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Michael Thomas “Tee” Hawkins, son of the late Milton Thomas Hawkins and Rubye Janet Curnell Hawkins, was born on January 23, 1960 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on August 18, 2014 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston at the age of 54.
Mr. Hawkins attended Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter. He worked as a general contractor for David Russell, was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sikeston and was a resident of Blodgett, Missouri.
He is survived by three daughters, Michele Hawkins, Rebeka Hawkins Easley and Audrina Rubye-Jane Hawkins; by five brothers, Scott Hawkins, Jerry Hawkins, Mark Hawkins, Matthew Hawkins and Troy Estes, III; by six sisters, Roxanne Johnson, Leslie Barrett, Kathy Dunnaway, Semona Penrod, Marla Stephenson and Marcella Honey; and by three grandchildren, Cooper Hatley, Carter Greer and Jaxson Easley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Hawkins.
Friends may call at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Lighthouse Christian Center on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
