Today's word is : Jamboree
A Jamboree is a round robin style of scrimmage play typically held before the start of a regular football season. Each team gets 12 plays on offense per scrimmage and no "official" score is kept.
The Dexter Bearcats will participate in an annual Jamboree Friday, August 15th at Kennett High School. It will start at 6 pm. Please come out and support your Bearcats!!
The Bearcats are hoping for a great season and have been working most of the summer getting in shape and are ready to tackle some good teams slated for the 2014 season.
"We are excited about the jamboree this Friday," stated Head Football Coach Justin Peden. "The guys are ready to show everyone what we have been working on all summer. This group of young men have been working tirelessly and hope to start the season off right."
Friday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. Come out and watch the Bearcats have a great start to the season!! Support your team and wear RED and BLACK!
