Dawson Chapel Choir with Eric Mathis to Perform

Dexter, Missouri – Eric Mathis, son of Greg and Lisa Mathis will accompany the Dawson Chapel Choir as they perform at the First Baptist Church on Friday, July 18th at 7:00 p.m.  This event is FREE and the public is encouraged to attend.

The Dawson Chapel Choir is a 100 voice, high-school-age choir who sing regularly in front of 7,000 members of the Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.   The choir sings a varied repertoire of literature from standard Christian choral literature to contemporary Christian music.

While on their “Mission Tour 2014”, they have performed at the United States Air Force Academy and sang the National Anthem at the Colorado Rockies baseball game.  Dexter is not only privileged, but honored to be a part of their tour and is their concluding concert before returning home to Birmingham.

Over the past 60 years, the Chapel Choir has toured annually within the United States.  They have also performed in Canada, England, Scotland, Germany, and Switzerland, including concerts in churches, community centers, and other public venues.

Please join the Dawson Chapel Choir on Friday evening for a wonderful night of Christian music.  Eric and his wife Brittany would love for you to attend.
