His message, “Brokenness, Salvation, & Recovery” speaks of his life, his drug addition and how he restored his marriage and his faith in God. In 2004 he was not only suicidal, but also homicidal and addicted to heroin. A beautiful thing happened to him – an intervention. Enough people cared about him that he was able to enter the Teen Challenge program.
He and his wife, Teri have so much to tell and how they were able to deal with the ups and downs of life. They believe knowing God helped them overcome their fears and freely face the future. They encourage people not to be concerned about what others think of them. They encourage people to talk about their struggles, fears and hope.
