Dexter, Missouri – The English classes at T.S. Hill Middle School finished a unit on poetry. To have a little fun Mr. Stephens took his students outside in the beautiful spring weather and they wrote poems on the sidewalks around the school.
Poems included limericks, Cinquain poems, name poems, metaphor poems, and Haikus.
It was a fun way to learn different types of poetry and a neat way to share them with the rest of the school.

Dexter, Missouri – Who wants to go to school on a Saturday? Well with old man Winter causing havoc for areas schools, one teacher made the best of the student’s time on a recent Saturday school day. They planted flowers!
Dexter Public School utilized a Saturday to make-up missed class time due to ice and snow during the regular school calendar.
Mrs. Underwood's class used a couple of hours to plant new flowers in front of T.S. Hill Middle School during their Saturday School make-up day.

Thank you for the beautification project! Summer is almost here!
