Phylis S. Murphy, daughter of the late Dallas and Mary Elois Martin Davis, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri, on February 26, 1941, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on April 29, 2014, at the age of 73 years, 2 months and 3 days.

She had lived in Detroit, Michigan before moving back to Dexter, Missouri, 25 years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Dallas Caldwell of Dexter, Missouri, and Joe Murphy of Arlington, Texas; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one brother, Dallas Davis of Warren, Michigan.  Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Davis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014, after 10:00 a.m. at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
