Verneal Durbin

She had lived in the Essex and Bloomfield areas most of her life. She had retired from Tyson Foods after 40 years of service and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are one daughter, Debbie Vaughn of Bloomfield; two sons, Scott Durbin of Dexter, Steve Durbin of Bloomfield; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two brothers, Jess Horn of Dexter; Terry Horn of Jacksonville, Florida; three sisters, Nina Williamson of Puxico, Nadine Teeters of Circle City and Shirley Smith of Boise, Idaho. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lana Spencer and Wilda Menley; and three brothers, Herman, John and Bob Horn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. Travis Quetermous of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
