Louise Margaret Cox

Louise Margaret Cox, daughter of the late Henry Rogers and Opal Harper Rogers, was born on May 1, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on March 4, 2014 at her residence in Glen Allen, Missouri at the age of 88.

Mrs. Cox was a member of the St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Missouri and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Sam Robinson and Danny Robinson, both of Glen Allen, Missouri; three brothers, Junior Rogers of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Larry Rogers of Dexter, and J. D. DeJournett of Dearborn, Michigan; by four sisters, Ettie Mayo of Bloomfield, Bertha Johnson of Bloomfield, Ella Cowell of Imperial, Missouri and Doris Zellick of Davison, Michigan; by six grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Adam Robinson; by two brothers, Floyd Rogers and Raymond DeJournett; and by three sisters, Betty Faulkner, Lucille Gross and Freda Lilly.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from Noon to 1:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Greg Stevens officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
