Ricky “Rick” Lynn Stone, son of Wilma Sue Cochran Stone of Dexter and the late Billy Raymond Stone, was born on July 26, 1963 in Memphis, Tennessee and departed this life on February 19, 2014 at his residence in Aid, Missouri at the age of 50.

Mr. Stone was employed at Tyson Foods, Inc. in Dexter.

On May 21, 1981, he was united in marriage to Peggy Eckert at Montauk, Missouri.  Mrs. Stone survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter, Jessica Lykins and husband James of Essex; by one brother, Sammy Stone of Dexter; by three grandchildren, Kevin Lykins, Makenna Lykins and Chelsey Lewis; and by two great-grandchildren, Savannah Lykins and Hannah Lewis.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from Noon to 2:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Wooten officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
