
Tim Lee Jenkins of Hermitage, TN age 51, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Joyce DeAnn Jenkins and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Birchfield all of Dexter, MO.
He is survived by his wife, Roana Jenkins; sons, Jaden Nash Jenkins, Colton Cash Jenkins; step-daughter, Torri Vance; father, Mr. Bob Jenkins; sisters, Jeanne (Danny) Summers, Sharon Smith, Cindy (Joe) Nichols; nephews, Nic Smith, Jake Smith, Drew Nichols; nieces, Rachael Diaz, Alana Dowdy and many other friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Nashville, TN, Wednesday, January 1, 2014, from 2-4pm followed by a funeral service at 4 pm.
An additional visitation and service will be held at Rainey - Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, MO, Saturday, January, 4, from 9-11am followed by the service at 11am.
The burial will be at Armstead Dowdy Cemetery in Dexter, MO.

Shirley Ann Brigman, daughter of the late Paul Duncan and Bernice Morlan Duncan, was born on December 29, 1946 and passed away on December 19, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 66.
Mrs. Brigman was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a former resident of Dexter and was living in Piedmont and had previously been the owner of Tropical Tan in Dexter.
She is survived by one son, Danny Hayes of Piedmont; by one daughter, Darlene Lutes of Piedmont; by three brothers, William “Eddie” Duncan of Carbondale, Illinois, Tony Duncan of Sikeston and Ronnie Duncan of Advance; by three grandchildren, Emily Hayes, Jantzen Cain and Robert Paul Lutes; and by two great-grandchildren, Levi Lutes and Kylie Shemwell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Duncan and Danny Duncan; and by one sister, Connie Swiderski.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev.
Dwight Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.

Bobby Ray Irish, Sr., son of Harvey A. Irish and Charlotte Hartline Irish of Dexter, was born on May 5, 1967 in Poplar Bluff and passed away on December 29, 2013 at SoutheastHealth in Cape Girardeau at the age of 46.
Mr. Irish was a resident of Dexter, was a former firefighter, a former employee of Hank Graff Chevrolet, Comolus Radio Broadcasting and had worked as a home health caretaker.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Bobby Ray Irish, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Flint, Michigan; by five sisters, Dawn Marie Link of Puxico, Tammy Lea Irish of Flushing, Michigan, Heather Marie Haley and her husband Ron of Clinton, Mississippi, Pam Pease and her husband Dwayne of Dexter, Paula Jones and her husband Danny of Dexter; by his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Irish of Dexter; and by two grandchildren, Mackenzie Irish and Aiden Irish.
Visitation was held Monday, December 30, 2013 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
A memorial service was then conducted at 3:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Chaney officiating.
A memorial service will also be held in Flint, Michigan.

He had lived in St. Louis, Arnold and Nowata, Oklahoma before moving to the Dexter area in 1994. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He had worked and retired as a terminal worker with Admiral Merchants Motor Freight and he enjoyed wood working, and loved to play bingo.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and received the following decorations, Bronze Service Arrowhead; Philippine Liberation Ribbon with One Bronze Star; Good Conduct Medal; Purple Heart Medal with One Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster; and a Bronze Star Medal.
On July 12, 1953, he was married to Bonnie B. Harris in Arkansas. She preceded him in death on September 6, 1993.
Surviving are one son and wife, Jeffrey & Ginny Evans of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; one daughter & husband, Susan & Don Awtrey of Arnold, Missouri; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Billy James Evans of Dexter, Missouri; two sisters, Theda Nydegger of Oregon and Wanda Norman of Utah. Other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Madge Evans, Essie Vinson, Wilma Thomason and one brother, Fowler Evans.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Travis Quertermous of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment with be in the Harris Cemetery near Maynard, Arkansas with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

He had moved to the Morehouse area in 1951. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He had worked and retired from Malone & Hyde in Sikeston.
In 1933, he was married to Pauline Fore in West Ridge, Arkansas. She preceded him in death in May of 2003.
Surviving are two sons, George McCain of Tipton, Indiana, Charlie McCain of Morehouse, Missouri; one daughter, Alice Williams of Sikeston, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dutch and O. C. McCain; and two sisters, Mary Alice Glass and Cleo Mitchell.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, after 11:30 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at the Watknis & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment with be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
