Donald Ray Wilfong

He had moved back to the Puxico area in 2003. He worked at Purilator Filter and at the Walmart Distrubution Center. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
On November 5, 1963 he was married to Francis Cookson. She preceded him in death on November 18, 1971. On January 16, 1981, he was Married to Mary Alice Escue in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Alice Wilfong of Piedmont; three sons, Charlie Robertson of Bloomfield, Joseph Robertson, Sr. of DesArc, Bill Robertson of Zalma; five daughters, Cheryl Lynn Nance of Puxico, Frances Renee' Keller of Scott City, Linda Coy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Melissa Wilson of Carbondale, Illinois, Allison Wilfong of Piedmont, one grandson who resides in the home, Joey Robertson; seventeen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Gary Wilfong of Puxico. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Lester, Whitey, Claude, David, and Eugene Wilfong, and three sisters, Reva Cantrell, Vivian Pate, and Bertha Gates.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 1, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 2, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Charlie Robertson and Rev. Ray Placher officiating.
Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
