Bloomfield, Missouri - The first eight minutes of the Bernie vs Twin Rivers game proved to be low scoring for both teams. Bernie just didn’t seem to be meshing well with several turnovers. Ending the first quarter with a foul on Bernie. The Twin Rivers were able to capitalize another two points at the charity stripe. Twin Rivers 10 – 5 at the end of the first quarter.
Jake Wagner #5 hit a 3-pointer with just 2:26 left on the clock in the second quarter giving the Mules the lead 21 – 19. Bubby Schwent then went to the line and hit a free throw increasing the lead by three. That gave the Mules momentum as they scored another five points ending the first half 27 – 22.
Eric Ray scored a game-high 16 points for the Royals. Nathan Watson contributed 11.
Bubby Schwent scored a game-high 19 points. B.J. Jennings tallied 10 points for the Mules. Jake Wagner hit two treys, Justin Stanfield and Devin Trammel both added one trey each.

Bloomfield, Missouri - South Pemiscot seeded #4 and Bloomfield seeded #12 were tied 8 all with just 20.4 seconds left on the clock in the first quarter. The Wildcats were able to keep up the pace for the most part, but began trailing in the second quarter. S. Pemiscot was just too much for Bloomfield and defeated them 65 – 43.
Jacob Trammell had 16 points and hit four treys for S. Pemiscot. Anthony Primer contributed 15 points. Torrance Shepard had one trey.
Bloomfield’s Tim Fox had a game-high 15 points. Newell, Vandiver and Battles each added a trey.

Bloomfield, Missouri - The #1 seed Kennett Indians overpowered the Green Wave of Malden. Malden defeated the Holcomb Hornets to get the opportunity to play Kennett, but the Indians have powerhouse Kevonte Mitchell on their side.
Mitchell had a game-high 37 points with 2 treys. He also has the tournament high for points scored in a game. Akeem Nelson scored 11 points along with a trey and Rantrell Caruthers tallied 10 points for the Indians.
Malden’t Jeremy Jones scored 14 points. Trevor Ison hit one trey.

Bloomfield, Missouri – The Holcomb Hornets defeated the Richland Rebels in game #12 of the 57th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament. Richland wore the home colors. This was the last consolation game of the day at Bloomfield.
Marcus Grayson had a game-high 25 points for the Rebels including two treys. Tristan Wamble calculated 10 points and two treys.
Holcomb’s Bub Davis recorded a game-high 21 points. Ryan Reeves followed with 20 including two treys for the Hornets. Cameron Clark tallied 16, Skyler Johnson added 13 and Preston Sikes recorded 12 more points.

Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bulldogs vs the Bulldogs! Van Buren and Portageville went head to head in a battle that seemed to be all Portageville until the fourth quarter when Van Buren came alive.
The Bulldogs of Portageville led early on and ended the first quarter with a five-point lead. At the end of the first half, Van Buren had narrowed the margin to just one point. The Portageville Bulldogs were ahead 26 – 25.
Van Buren lost steam quickly in the 3rd quarter as the Portageville Bulldogs increased their lead by 14 points and outscored them 23 – 9. Score at the end of the 3rd quarter was 47 – 35 with Portageville with a comfortable lead.
What happened next is anyone's guess. Van Buren came alive and tied the game 50 - 50. A couple of fouls on Portageville and Van Buren took advantage taking the lead with just 44 seconds remaining. Increasing the lead by 4. Portageville fans were on their feet screaming defense. A time out was called and the crowd fell silent!With just 6.4 seconds left on the clock a 3-pointer by Portageville and it was a one point game. Van Buren just needed to hold onto the ball and they would win. A foul sent them to the line adding two points. With just 1/2 second left on the clock, Van Buren Throws it long and the buzzer sounds! Van Buren wins by three!
