Charley Mock, son of the late Sam Mock and Modena Sanford Mock was born on March 28, 1921 at Lepanto, Arkansas and departed this life in the Southeast Health of Stoddard County on November 15, 2013 at the age of 92.

Mr. Mock was the former Plant Foreman at Delta Asphalt in Cape Girardeau, a veteran of the United States Navy Seabee’s serving in World War 2 and a resident of Dexter.

He was united in marriage to Goldie Smothers on February 15, 1943 at Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Mock survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter in law, Charles and Mary Mock of Dexter: by one granddaughter, Shannon Chasteen: by two great-grandchildren, Davis Chasteen and Hannah Chasteen.

Besides his parents,he was preceded in death by several siblings.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with full Military Honors.
