LaDawn makes her home in Dexter, where she resides with her husband of 31 years. She has two grown sons as well as two beautiful daughter in laws. She is also blessed with one grandson. LaDawn has served on the Stoddard County Board of Real Estate in the past and is currently a member of the Three Rivers Board of Realtors.

Dexter, Missouri - Jennifer Miller, student adviser of the Dexter High School Student Council was recognized as the Southeast District Student Council Adviser of the Year at the Southeast District Convention held at Cape Central High School on October 29th.
The Southeast District encompasses all high schools and middle level schools in the 17 counties of Southeast Missouri.
Miller has been a Student Council Adviser at Dexter High School for the past 12 years and has served as the Southeast District board member on the Missouri Association of Student Councils Advisory Board for the past four years.

Dexter, Missouri - November Calendar Girl is Shelby Gathings. She is the 16 year old daughter of Bobby and Angela Alford.
Shelby is a junior at Dexter High School and is a member of Honors Choir, Yearbook Staff, D-Unit Pep Club, and a cast member for an upcoming high school musical to be performed at the end of November. She was also 1st Alternate to Miss Dexter.
Shelby was a top twelve contestant and 1st Alternate in the annual Miss Dexter Pageant hosted by the Choral Department at Dexter High School.

Dexter, Missouri – The 4th Annual D.A.R.E. Rod and Custom Car Show & Swap Meet will be held Saturday, November 2nd at the Dexter Municipal Pool Parking Lot.
Registration is 9:00 a.m. – noon. Judging will be at noon and awards presented at 4:00 p.m.
There will be a Best of Show award, Club Participation award, Kid’s Choice award and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies presented in the following classes:

Cars-Factory/Restored Original – Up to 1960
Cars – Factory/Restored Original – 1961-1980
Cars-Factory/Restored Original – 1981 to Present
