Spokeo is rewarding the winning applicant who can write an essay of 1,000 words or more on a topic of connections, relationships, or access to data. The requirements for this scholarship are below:
-Applicant must be either a recently graduated high school senior who will enroll as a freshman at a four year or two year college or university in the spring of 2014 OR a student currently enrolled on a full-time basis at an accredited four-year or two-year college or university.
-Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Essay must be no fewer than 1,000 words and no greater than 1,600 words.
- Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Essay must be applicant's original work.
-Essay must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. November 20th, 2013.
The applicant of the winning essay will receive a one-time scholarship of $1,000 to be applied to the following school-related expenses: tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board. Funds must be used in the 2013 -2014 academic year. Scholarship funds are provided by Spokeo and will be paid via mail to the accredited college or university of the winning applicant's choosing.

Dexter, Missouri - Trevor Waldner is the son of Bob and Kim Waldner.
Trevor has participated in wrestling all fours years of high school and football his 11th and 12th grade years. He is a member of DECA and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Trevor plans to serve his country by joining the Army after high school.

Dexter, Missouri - Noah Rains is the son of Susan Pearson and the late Rex Rains.
Noah has participated in wrestling his 9th and 12th grade years and football his 10th and 12th grade years.
Noah is also in choir.
His future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
