Poplar Bluff, Missouri- The 2nd Annual Sarah White 5K and Relay Race will be held on Saturday, October 19th at 10:00 a.m. on the Three Rivers College Campus in Poplar Bluff.  All ages are invited to participate or volunteer for the event.

This is an annual event that is held here on the Three Rivers campus every October and benefits the Sarah White Memorial Scholarship that is held by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust.  This year we have decided to make it a "COLOR SPLASH" run.  For those of you who haven't heard of a color run, vibrant colors of blue, green, purple, yellow, and pink will be splashed on you throughout the course and will have a tie-dyed effect on your clothing.

Sarah White will always be remembered as grace in the midst of adversity, smiles in the time of sadness, faith in a time of uncertainty, and courage in a time of fear.  Sarah's battle with cancer was the epitome of facing fears, as evidenced by her skydiving with "I Scare Cancer" written on her helmet. 

The run/walk includes an individual 5k or a 2-person relay.  Team up with your spouse, parent, sibling, co-worker, friend, etc and splash your fears away together!!  Again, all proceeds will fund the Sarah White Memorial Scholarship allowing Sarah's legacy to live on forever.

Late registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on October 19th. The entry fee is $15.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the relay. To register for more information, contact the Development Office at Three Rivers College at 573-840-9077 or email eparks@trcc.edu
