Dexter, Missouri- This year marks the eighty-sixth year of the Stoddard County Fair.  The Stoddard County Fair works to do many things for the surrounding communities.  The fair supports our youth, promotes community spirit, enhances Stoddard County’s image, and also showcases the agriculture in the county.


The members of the Stoddard County Fair board that help organize and prepare for the fair are listed below:

The Stoddard County Fairboard Scholarship Program has awarded over $33,500 in scholarships to graduates of the county since the 1980s.  The only criteria to be eligible for the scholarship is the student must have exhibited in 3 of the 5 years from the eighth grade through the twelfth grade.

The 2013 Stoddard County Fair will begin on Sunday, September 15th and end on Saturday, September 21st.  The gates will open at 6:00 p.m. every day, except on Saturday when the gates will not open until 1:00 p.m.  All events below will start at 7:00 p.m. unless noted otherwise.


Sunday, September 15th

All exhibit (except Livestock) entries  accepted from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.


Monday, September 16th-  

All exhibits (except Livestock) judged

Large Livestock Entries will be accepted from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Small Livestock Entries will be accepted from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Tuesday, September 17th- 

The Parade in Downtown Dexter will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Main Stage – Queen Pageant will begin directly after the parade

In Arena A - Chicken Catching & Youth Games directly after the parade

In Arena B – TBA

Ground Act – Magic Mike (Magician) at 6:30 p.m.                         

Midway – Justin Heskitt Band Performs at 7:00 p.m.


Wednesday, September 18th-

Sheep and Goats Judging will begin   at 6:00 p.m.

Midway – Church Services will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Arena A – TBA

Arena B – TBA

Ground Act –Magic Mike    (Magician) at 6:30 p.m.
Midway –Fuse Worship /Tyler Feller /Kryst Lyke at 7:00 p.m.
Ground Act –Magic Mike (Magician) at 6:30 p.m.


Thursday, September 19th-

Arena A- Cattle, Hogs and Equine Judging at 6:00 p.m.
Arena A –FFA Tractor Rodeo at 7:00 p.m.
Arena B – Karaoke at 7:00 p.m.
Midway – Flashback at 7:00 p.m.
Ground Act- Magic Mike (Magician) at 6:30 p.m.
Bracelet Night - $20 EACH from 6:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.


Friday, September 20th-   

Arena A –Antique Tractor Pull at 7:00 p.m.

Arena B- Karaoke at 7:00 p.m.
Midway- Blackjack Billy at 7:00 p.m.
Ground Act - Magic Mike (Magician) at 6:30 p.m.


Saturday, September 21st-  

Buyers Breakfast at 8:00 a.m.
Livestock Barns- 4H & FFA Livestock Auction begins at 9:00 a.m.
Main Stage- Stoddard County Youth Pageant begins at 10:00 a.m.
Main Stage- 4-H/FFA Public Speaking Contest  begins at 3:00 p.m.
Arena B- Youth Events at 3:00 p.m.

Arena A – Demo Derby at 7:00 p.m.

Arena B – Karaoke at 7:00 p.m.
Midway –Maggie Thorn 5-7 p.m. & Anna Katherine DeHart 8-10 p.m.
Ground Act - Magic Mike (Magician) at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.


Sunday, September 22nd-

Livestock Check Out 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Exhibits MUST be picked up Noon to 4 PM/Exhibit Barn A
