Irene L. Hinman, daughter of the late Luther Sifford and Nancy Horton Sifford was born on April 9, 1920 in Bernie, Missouri and departed this life on June 6, 2013 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 93 years.

Mrs. Hinman was a homemaker, a member of the Dexter Church of Christ and a resident of Dexter.

On September 5, 1937, she was united in marriage to Durwood Hinman in Kelso, Missouri.  Mr. Hinman preceded her in death on January 5, 1995.

Survivors include one son, Larry Hinman and wife Connie of Dexter; by four grandchildren, Ricki McCoy, Kelli Robinett, Russell Hinman, and Mark Hinman; also by six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Clifton Hinman; by three brothers; five sisters and one great-grandson, Spencer Harrison Hinman.  She was the last survivor of nine brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 10, 2013. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Larry Hinman and Gary Hicks officiating.  Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to Children’s Homes, 5515 Old Walcott Road, Paragould, Arkansas 72450-9983.
