Dexter, Missouri – April 30th would have been Larry Jones’ birthday. It was quite appropriate that the Larry B. Jones H.O.P.E. Campaign’s drawing was held live on KDEX Radio that day.
“We grew up here and we know how generous and caring the people are in this community,” stated Lora Galati, daughter of Larry B. Jones.
The final count for this year’s fundraiser was $6,317.00 bringing a total of over $23,000 since 2011. “WOW! Every year this community blows us away,” exclaimed Galati.
This year we raffled two $500 Wal-Mart gift cards to raise money. The winners were Larry Arnold and Gabe Galati. The family wanted to thank all those who sold the tickets, Allen Christian Buick GMC, Autry Morlan Chevrolet-Cadillac and KDEX for their advertising.
