Recently, the McDonalds fast food chain created a brand new item to place on their menu: The Premium McWrap. The restaurant wanted to offer something fresh, healthy, and tasty for their customers that are worried about getting a quick lunch but are also concerned about the calories.

The McWrap turns a tortilla, chicken breast filets, vegetables, and a mix of sauces into a great meal. Each McWrap comes with chicken (either crispy or grilled), spring peas, shredded lettuce, and a warm tortilla, but there are also many types of wraps that are now available. As of right now, there are three different wraps: Sweet Chili Chicken, Chicken and Bacon, and Chicken and Ranch.

“The introduction of McDonald’s new entrée line Premium McWrap is part of our ongoing effort to offer our customers new, relevant menu options and flavors they are looking for,” John Moreland, a McDonalds Owner Operator from Cape Girardeau, stated. “We know people today are looking for freshly prepared, meal options that taste great and are convenient.  With its abundance of ingredients and unique flavors in an easy-to-eat package, Premium McWrap is sure to satisfy.”

The Premium McWraps start at 350 calories and the official McDonalds website (McDonalds.com) offers more nutritional information on all of their meals. The McWrap is not only a new addition, but it is on the menu to stay.
