Dexter, Missouri -  The city of Dexter would like to inform the public of the following railroad crossing closure.

Please be advised that the Elm Street railroad crossing in Dexter will be closed from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23^, 2013.

This will allow Union Pacific Railroad to do some much-needed work on the crossing.  Please take an alternate route for this one-day only.

Union Pacific Railroad and the city of Dexter apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause; however the repairs are needed and required ever so often. 

If you have traveled over the One Mile Road railroad crossing you may have noticed a much smoother crossing.  Thank you Union Pacific!  We really appreciate the repairs!
