Dexter, Missouri - Man of the Year John William Ringer invaded the Keller Public Library Tuesday morning with Polar Bears & Penguins.  About three dozen children and twenty or more adults attended the popular Story Hour.

"It is most definitely the weather for it," commented one Mom.  "Doesn't feel like Spring at all and glad to be indoors today."

The youngsters were quite excited "Doing the Penguin Dance" as each child tried to waddle like a penguin across the floor.  The "Penguin March" and "Tacky the Penguin" songs were also hits among the children as they sang and danced and tried to splash like a penguin in the sea.

The children also learned about how to treat their book and how not to damage them at the library.  They must be careful when turning the pages or putting the books away.  Pages can get ripped and crushed very quickly and no one likes to check out a book that is damaged.

There are several pictures of the children and Mr. Ringer on the ShowMe Times Facebook page if you want to comment or share with your fellow Facebookers.

This Tuesday, March 26th, the Keller Public Library will present Conservation Agent, Mark Reed with Animal Furs & Hides at 10:15 a.m.  You will not want to miss this exciting Story Hour!
